Anabella Gonzalez
I was responsible for animating the ribbons in the first and last shot of the sequence pictured on the right. This was my first time working on a hybrid 3d and stop-motion film and it was a fun experience. After I perfected the motion of the ribbons I had to convert it so that it was animated on twos, fitting the style.
Memory Lane
Seojin Lee, Karizma Francis, Doring Huang
Working on this film helped me learn what a proper communication line between an animator and an animation lead looks like. Karizma Francis, the lead animator would always send me clear critiques for each pass, and we'd go back and forth until she and her team were satisfied.
Claws and Order
Tam Nguyen, Karen Chen, Skylar Williams
This shot was fun to try, since it was my first time working with such a stylized character with a more complex rig. The facial features were made up of flat polygons, which was a tad difficult at first, but I ended up liking how expressive they could be.
Broadway Blues
Elsa Miller, Ayana Hardy, Helen Yeung
Broadway Blues was probably one of the first films I started working on. Helen Yeung had assigned me a rather important scene which was flattering but also intimidating. However, I completed it to the best of my abilities at the time.
